Secondo Farhad Manjoo, giornalista e scrittore, Google+ is dead. The search behemoth might not realize it yet, but its chance to compete with Facebook has come and gone.

Nel motore di ricerca Google sono state integrate le notizie presenti su Google Plus, che aggiunge oltre 600.000 persone al giorno e potrebbe arrivare a 400 milioni per la fine del 2012. La nuova veste del motore di ricerca è stata ribattezzata "Google plus Your World" (Google più il tuo mondo): per ora è disponibile per gli utenti che usano la versione in lingua inglese e consente di allargare la ricerca non solo alle notizie tradizionali ma anche a immagini, video e messaggi provenienti dalla propria cerchia di amici.
