Firefox 38 è stato rilasciato lo scorso 12 maggio 2015, seguito 3 giorni dopo dai primi bug fix della 38.0.1. Le novità introdotte:

Balza quasi subito all'occhio la nuova organizzazione a schede delle preferenze (stile Chrome), probabilmente la novità più evidente se non addiritttura l'unica che si nota nell'utilizzo normale. Ci sono poi i soliti miglioramenti del motore interno, un supporto potenziato allo standard HTML5 ed alcune novità lato sviluppatore, oltre ai consueti e numerosi bug fix.
